Jarrett won his first game in a tennis tournament last week-end. (It took me a while to post I used Chris' camera and couldn't figure out how to put them on the computer) The game had to go to a tie-breaker. Jarrett was down by 6 but came back and won 10-8!!!! Jarrett was playing a tough competitor but Jarrett stayed calm and out played him!!! Way to go Jarrett!!!!!

Well this week-end Dalton had an out of town baseball tournament,Priscilla,Charles and my Dad had to work so that left Mama to take Dalton to the Baseball tournament at the beach. Jarrett stayed with us and we had a fun filled week-end......Jarrett had soccer Saturday morning then we cooked out Steak and Shrimp Saturday night watched some movies and played UNO!!!! Uncle Chris killed us!!!!! We think he was most likely cheating!!!! Sunday we went to church,looked at some open houses,made banana splits and watched another movie. We really had a great time. Hopefully we can do it again soon. We love you Jarrett and hope you had as much fun as we did!!!

Well it's football season and Dalton has started his 1st year of Jr. High school football at FCS. He is the center. A pretty tough position for his 1st year!!! He did really good Thursday night at his first scrimmage game. There 1st official game is next Thursday night so I will keep everyone updated on Wins and hopefully no losses!!! hahaha

Boy how time goes by!!! Just yesterday we were dancing on the speakers at Pizzazz, singing at the Chicken Strut( you go Madonna) and seeing how Big we could get our hair!!!! Now it's working, chatting on the phone when we have the time, seeing how calm we can get our hair and falling asleep trying to watch our 9:00 shows!!!!! It is FINALLY completed...... Chris has officially moved his business from his old location to his new very much larger location. I know all the guys are very HAPPY!!!!! They now have room to move around without bumping into each other. Congrats Booga on your move!!! I know you are also glad it is done. Maybe now we can relax!!!!!

Hello everyone....

I said I would be better at blogging but the past few weeks I have had nothing to Blog about. Chris has been trying to move his business to a new location. We are about done but it has been exhausting. He has been working at least 70 hours a week. I don't know how he does it!!!!!He is truly unbelievable.He is more driven than I could ever be. He has learned something from all this though.... he never wants to move anything ever again, houses included!!!!! As soon as all is done I will post a picture of his new place. (My mother-in-law took my camera to Europe so that's another reason for not blogging) I will have more to blog about in the near future because as soon as we get settled in the new building it is off for a little trip and relaxation for the Parkers.....stay tuned

Today we went down to Murrell's Inlet and had dinner with Tammy and Roger. Tammy and I went through Dental Hygienge together. They are down from Virginia for the week vacationing so we thought we would drive down and catch up with them. We had a great time!!!! Tammy is soooo funny. We laughed our way through college and tonight we laughed all through dinner!!! Roger is a hoot too!!!! Can't wait to see you guys again!!!

Tonight for Jarrett's B-day Grandaddy took us all out to Longhorns. Jarrett wanted to go there because they sing to you !!!! I think the icecream they brought him might have had a little something to do with it too!!!!!!! YUM!!!!! We also got extra dessert because the service was not that great. Jarrett turns 10 July 2nd but we celebrated his B-day today with our family. Jarrett has always wanted to put his face in his B-day cake, so Uncle Chris gave him what he wanted!!!!! Tennis Camp

Jarrett playing knock out and above the tennis camp crew!!!!

Jarrett had tennis camp this week. They had to do drills and play tennis for 3 hours each day and then went swiming for an hour. I stopped by when they were playing a game called knock out. You had to bounce your ball with your tennis racket without stopping while trying to knock someone out of a square. It looked really hard. Jarrett did a great Job though!!!!!

Game #3 of the All star match up between Greenwood and Delmae did not go so great. We lost 20 -4 . Dalton pitched great. He allowed only one run and made several outs at short stop. The problem came in when Delmae's bats became hot and we couldn't buy a hit. There's always next year. Good going Greenwood!!!!!

Well....... Game 2 of the All star match up did not go as well as Game 1 for the Greenwood team. We lost 4-3 in the bottom of the 6th inning. It was a great, close game we just came out on the losing end. Game 3 is tonight against Delmae and it is a must win for both teams. Hopefully we can win and have another chance at Mcleod Park. Go Greenwood!!!!!!!!

Tonight was game one for the Greenwood All stars. They won 11 to 7 against Delmae !!! Way to go Greenwood!!!! Hope the rest of the tournament goes as well. I will keep everyone posted, win or lose but hopefully we will stay in the win column. We looked Great tonight!!!!

Chris celebrated 42 this week-end. We went to his Mom and Dad's in NC. He went fishing and caught Dolphin and Mackreal, which he was very excited about. We went out to eat at the Texas steak house and had a great week-end with his parents. On Sunday we went over to my Mama and Daddy's and had sandwiches and pasta by the pool. I think Chris really had a great B-day week-end. Happy Birthday Booga, I love you!!!!!

Dalton was Inducted into the Beta Club at Florence Christian School in May. We are sooo proud of him. He plays sports, takes music and still manages to make A's and B's. Way to go Dalton!!!!

It was such a nasty rainy day and Jarrett and I had nothing better to do so we baked Uncle Chris a cake. Jarret is a really good Chef. I am sure his wife will appreciate how good he is in the kitchen one day. The Devil's Food Cake with Cream Cheese icing turned out Great. Way to go Jarrett.

Chris and I made a quick trip to Savannah Saturday to see his sister Michelle,her husband and our 3 nieces. We met them for lunch at the Shrimp Co. on the River Walk in Savannah. Although the food was horrible, the company was Great. It was fun seeing our nieces. They have grown sooo much since Thanksgiving. I don't know how Michelle and Frank do it. To have 3 children 3,2 and 6months is exhausting.

We finally had Daddy's birthday party. With all the sickness in our family it is a wonder he ever got to blow out his candles. I think we are on the recovery road with Grandma now though. Just wanted to tell my Dad Happy Birthday and that we love him very much. Thanks for always being there for us no matter what it was. It may have been bringing me cough syrup at 11:00 o'clock, or going to get me a diet mountain dew and bringing it by work. Thanks again and enjoy your Birthday month!!!!!

Well today is my official birthday but my birthday party has been put on hold. Mama is sick with a bug and grandma is in the hospital with pneumonia so we will have a party when they are up and around. Chris took me out for breakfast and it was wonderful. We goofed around in the rain and now we are at home in sweats just hanging out so I am having a nice relaxing Birthday.

I had a wonderful early Birthday with Lesley. We went shopping,out to lunch then more shopping. ( I introduced her to Hobby Lobby) We had a fun day. Lesley made me a birthday cake that was delicious!!! She tried to make homemade icing but a little too much vanilla and things went south. No worries Betty Crocker helped her out with some really good icing. Thanks for the cake and lunch but most importantly thanks for being such a great best friend for the past 24 years.

He said there are always New Years resolutions about losing weight , quiting smoking ect... but we should focus on what God would like our resolutions to be so this year ,yeah of course I want to lose weight and get fit but My resolution is going to be focusing more on God and less on self. We have had a great Christmas so far. We got up around 6:00 then went to Mama and Daddy's the boys were ready to open the presents Grandma and Grandaddy gave them.I got a digital camera with a HP photo mart so I can make my on pictures. No more last minute runs to CVS for picture printing. Santa must know I love to take pics. Maybe I will have more photos on my blog now. Santa brought Chris a MP3 player ,shaver and tool box. I think I must have been better than he was this year cause Santa was better to me. I even got got diamonds for my bracelet. I will put more Christmas updates as the day unfolds until then enjoy some pictures and Have a Very Merry Christmas. We love you all!!!!!

Dalton and Jarrett were in a Christmas play at South Florence Baptist Church. They both did such a great job!!! Dalton had one of the lead speaking parts and Jarrett had a solo. We took pictures but of as luck would have it they all came out too dark to put on my blog but so not to get yelled at for not blogging I thought I better type something pictures or not. Hahaha.

Well today Dalton turned 12. Just one more year and he will officially be a teenager. My Mama cooked him his favorite dinner. Fried Chicken and home fries (he's such a southern boy). Grandma,Grandaddy,Priscilla and Charles all pitched in for a deer stand. Jarrett gave him a Harry Potter video and Aunt Julie and Uncle Chris gave him a Carolina Jersey. He will have two more parties over the week-end so who knows what else he will get!!! Boy have Birthday's changed. Have a great Birthday week-end Dalton we love you.

THE STORM

This was a Baseball week-end. Dalton's team the Storm had a travel ball tournament at Freedom Florence. We had two losses on Saturday but Dalton played great!!! He hit well, and as you can see stole some bases. We will need a lot of spray and wash for that uniform. We almost won the second game it was a close one. It came down to the last inning. We were tied 6-6 and the Insanity had last bat. I'm sure we will get them Tomorrow. Great game Dalton. Keep up the great playing!!!

Today was the Beginning of soccer season for Jarret. He did great!!! He was all over the field playing offense and defense. They lost the first two games but then won the last one. They have black uniforms so they look like a small Carolina soccer team.

This past Saturday Chris and I headed for Charleston for the first Carolina Game of the Season. We met at Lesley and Ed's and then went to Greg and Jennifer's for the game. We had a great time and of course the Gamecocks winning was an added bonus. Greg and Jennifer have a little boy Patrick who is sweet and entertaining. He loves the Gamecocks or should I say The Band, HA HA..(SORRY GREG)

Shark Fishing with our Nephews

We took our nephews Jarrett and Dalton on a shark fishing adventure and as you can see it was very successful. I should say Chris and Charles took them Shark fishing because my sister, Priscilla and I layed out on the front of the boat while everyone fished. We stayed out for about 7 hours a little long for me. I tried to come in at the 5 hour mark but was over ruled!!!!!!! Hopefully we will get to hit the ocean again soon. This time however I think Uncle Chris will be looking for Mackerel or Sea Bass. Shark are fun to catch but not so good to eat!
